These are the people visiting or working in the dolls house shop. They are, from the left - sales assistant, lady customer, little girl with doll, manager, and the man who builds the houses.
The project on which I am currently working is a series of tiny shops, designed so that each one can stand alone, or be butted against others to form a row, with larger shops at the corners. Each shop measures 2 inches across the front.
The Dolls House.
This comprises a ground floor sales area, with an office and workshop upstairs.
Say It With Flowers.
This shop has a small apartment upstairs for the lady owner.
Unfortunately, she is not very tidy, and has left her dressing gown draped across the bed, her newspaper and knitting on the armchair, and her book on the table beside the flowering plant.
Along the back wall there are shelves holding cut flowers, and a cabinet with a bridal bouquet, whilst the side wall has shelves holding tins of plant food, flower pots and potting composts. A variety of flowers and shrubs can be seen in the shop window and on the floor in front of the counter. The gentleman customer has just bought flowers for his lady.
